Eurasian Enigma: Russian News Media and Elections With Anna Veduta
Anna Veduta says she endured beatings by police while serving as press secretary for anti-corruption campaigner Alexei Navalny’s 2013 Moscow mayoral campaign. But while Meduza avoids Russian censorship in Riga, challenges remain. Veduta discusses how Russian-language independent media outlets struggle to survive both in Russia and abroad.
