Join Harvard's Davis Center for an online talk with Maria Birger on Soviet dissidents and their impact in West Germany. Soviet dissidents, especially Andrei Sakharov and other leading human rights activists, had a far-reaching impact in the Federal Republic of Germany. Speakers will discuss this impact and its implications.
