Moldova's Unorthodox Coalition: The First 100 Days

Sept. 24, 2019, 10:00-11:00am (RSVP requested)
5th Floor Conference Room, Wilson Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC

Join the Wilson Center's Kennan Institute for a talk with William H. Hill and Lyndon Allin on Moldova's coalition government.

Moldova's unexpected coalition government between the avowedly pro-European ACUM bloc and the pro-Russian Socialist Party, formed on June 8, has demonstrated a surprising degree of cohesion and purpose. Long-time U.S. Moldova experts William Hill and Lyndon Allin will examine the coalition's domestic programs, foreign policy activity and near- and longer-term prospects for success.

RSVP is requested; information can be found at this link.

Speakers:

Matthew Rojansky, director, Kennan Institute

William H. Hill, global fellow, Wilson Center; former professor of national security strategy, National War College, Washington, DC

Lyndon Allin, senior associate, compliance & investigations group, Baker McKenzie
