David T. Ellwood Democracy Lab, Rubenstein Bldg., Room 414AB, 79 John F. Kennedy St., Cambridge, MA

Join Harvard Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center of Media, Politics and Public Policy for a lecture with Kathleen Hall Jamieson on the Russian role in the 2016 presidential elections. In this lecture, Kathleen Hall Jamieson will marshal the troll posts, unique polling data, analyses of how the press used the hacked content and a synthesis of half a century of media effects research to argue that, although not certain, it is probable that the Russians helped elect the 45th president of the United States.

Speaker:

Kathleen Hall Jamieson, professor of communication, Anneberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania; director, Annenberg Public Policy Center, University of Pennsylvania
